Los Angeles County Department of Public Works - Industrial Waste Unit
The Industrial Waste (IW) Unit of Public Works regulates industrial waste discharges into over 3,000 miles of local sewers within the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County and 37 contract cities. The Unit also regulates industrial wastewater that is collected, hauled, disposed, or discharged into the ground (where permissible).
